Rat Or Tat

I've never really been quite sure how I feel about the rat scene. Sometimes I'll see a "rat" car and think ok that works and is actually pretty cool and inventive, and then other times I think what the fuck have you done to your car!

Now these two are what I call rat.

Most of the time now, its the second of the two. For me the uk rat scene has ruined the word "rat" and all it stands for with people buying shit cars, making them no quicker, sanding the body work, covering them in tat and then giving them a drop.

Here are four examples of what shall now be known as Tat Look.

For me cars like Mike Burroughs "Rusty Slammington" define the term "rat" and I want it to stay like that, as oppose to people in rusty shitbox's sitting on garden chairs....

But dont get me wrong, some of the stuff out there is cool, but please, stop ruining the name.

Sean, drives one hell of a sleeper of a Saxo, its a boggo 1.1i shell, fitted with a breathed on 1.6 8v, backed up by VTR/S running gear and a whole host of chassis mods. and is not affraid to show it some stick on track, ruining his brakes in the process.

and Sean, we expect to see a pic of the sticker on the car :)

iphone HDR any good?......

Well i recently downloaded the pro HDR app for the iphone, and what better time to try it out than at modded live at snetterton.......























i dont think it beats a true HDR shot but for a phone its not that bad at all



i know how much dave loved the evo above, he wanted me to take special notice of the oil cooler and filter re-locate, so this is for you dave...

So whilst the Zetec 5spokes are undergoing a slight colour change (and whilst he's not in Singapore), Dave slapped on some team dynamics and popped up to Uttoxeter for a brew and some pictures.

And a very pleasant afternoon it was. Especially filling the Ford with non-specific excrement.
